A major new Randolph was released on January 22nd, 2012. We have integrated our SQL Parser into it. Now it doesn’t only scan your databases for changes, it also parses the code, finds errors and warnings, tells you when things were broken and by whom, etc
A new upgrade of Nob Hill Database compare came out on January 24th, 2012. It can now fully parse your SQL code, and tell you what will happen when you migrate entities - before you do it. Don’t just blindly migrate entities anymore! Find problems before they happen. See what repercussion your migration might have!
A new Diana Lite came out on December 2nd 2011. We've greatly improved our own SQL compiler, so you can not only detect errors in code, but also get warnings: where do you declare variables and not use, or use before you set them? Where are you trying to update a table with data that might be trimmed, or lose some of it due to rounding? Where in your expressions are you combining data of different type, etc.. Programmers of all languages – C++, Java, C# etc – have been enjoying this crucial feature since those languages were invented. It’s about time SQL users would have it too!
